California Environmental Groups File Lawsuit Against U. S. Forest Service | Nestlé | Arrowhead Water

Oct 13, 2015:

Three environmental groups, the Center for Biological Diversity, the Story of Stuff Project, and the Courage Campaign Institiute filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Forest Service for allowing the Nestlé company to pump water from the San Bernardino National Forest in California.

The groups claim that Nestlé's permit to pump water from the San Bernardino National Forest technically expired in 1988, and that the pumping during California's drought is damaging the forest. Nestlé uses the water for it's Arrowhead brand of spring water.
