Terrorist Attack at Reina Nightclub in Istanbul Turkey Leaves 39 Dead and 69 Wounded

Abdulkadir Masharipov, the man believed responsible for the January 1 attack at the Reina nightclub, has been captured and arrested.

Istanbul Governor Vasip Sahin said that Masharipov confessed to the crime, and that his fingerprints match those found at the nightclub.

Jan 2, 2017:

The Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.

Jan 1, 2017:

A lone gunman attacked a crowd of about 500 people at the Reina nightclub in Istanbul, Turkey leaving 39 people dead and 69 wounded. After the shooting, the gunman fled the scene.

  1. Had heard...................am sicken by terrorism being a WEEKLY group occurrence. Was bad enough when it was monthly but now it is such a regular occurrence I am afraid I and we are taking becoming numb to it's horror.
