On April 5, 2026 Trump used the "F-word" in a post targeting Iran regarding the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. Using the F-word is NOT acceptable behavior for the president of the United States. The fact that Trump used it shows just how frustrated and discombobulated Trump is.

We all know that Trump spends a lot of time on Truth Social, and it's clear that some of his posts are about legitimate business and policy concerns, but his attacks on perceived political enemies and liberals have become increasingly hostile and long-winded.

It's hard to comprehend how a president of the United States would want to spend countless hours pushing buttons a smart phone to rant and rave about anything and everything they disagree with. Surely Trump's time would be much better spent doing other, more productive things, right?

Imagine how emotionally agitated Trump becomes when he rants and raves on Truth Social. Do you think this is a good thing for Trump's mental health? Do you think this is a good thing for the American people and the world?

I've posted on HWR ad nauseam about Trump's massive, out of control ego. His ego is the reason he spends so much time posting on Truth Social, and his gargantuan ego is matched only by it's degree of fragility.

Trump has suffered a lot of push back this year from those who disagree with him. A lot of things are not going his way, and he's undoubtedly feeling the pressure.

Here's a short list of things Trump is dealing with:

  • The ongoing war with Iran with no peace deal end in sight
  • Benjamin Netanyahu's conflict with Lebanon and how it affects Trump's efforts to end the war with Iran
  • High gas prices as a result of Trump's war with Iran
  • The Supreme Court decision invalidating Trump's tariffs
  • Trump and the DOJ $1.8 billion "anti-weaponization" fund
  • The legal and political fallout of Trump adding his name to the Kennedy Center
  • At least eight lost court cases regarding the Trump administration's efforts to obtain state voter records
  • The ongoing saga of the still not totally released Epstein files
  • The legal and political fallout of Trump's White House Ballroom project

Trump always puts forth a persona and facade of being incredibly strong and extremely intelligent, and that he is virtually unshakable regardless of what's going on. But underneath Trump's "strong man" persona is a person who is constantly, relentlessly seeking approval, which he desperately needs to soothe his fragile ego.

Trump's mentor, Roy Cohn taught him these six rules of managing and dominating situations and people:

  1. Never apologize or admit wrongdoing, ever.
  2. Always counter-attack, and always with greater force than you received.
  3. Use the legal system as a weapon, not a recourse for justice.
  4. Manipulate the media ruthlessly.
  5. Use fear as both shield and sword.
  6. Build a fortress of loyalty around yourself.

These are strategies that Trump has used his whole life to get what he wants, but they are also things that are directly connected and related to ego. The embodiment of these rules has been Trump's way of building up and protecting his ego.

Read Cohn's rules again and think about how they relate to ego. All of them result in creating a feeling of superiority, of invincibility, and of strength - all of which help to prop up ego.

Human beings sometimes do things that are wrong. To not admit to wrongdoing when you know you've done wrong is not only morally wrong, it's an outright lie. As we all know, Trump is a chronic liar.

To use the legal system as a weapon is also morally wrong. The justice system was designed to settle disputes, NOT attack your enemies.

Trump is a master at manipulating the media and using fear, and by doing so he gaslights and outright lies at a frequency and to a degree that we have never before seen in U.S. politics. I'm sure it makes him feel good (in other words, soothes his ego) when he does this, but it's morally wrong.

I'm not the first one to say that Trump is morally bankrupt, and I will continue to call out and document his egregioius, maniacal, egocentric behavior because our democracy and the health and wellness of the entire world depend on it.
